The AJKO model was originally released in the 1980s as an affordable alternative to the all-leather model.

1994 - The first Air Jordan 1 Chicago Retro model

In 1994, the model received a retro version. Needless to say, this was a sought-after release that stayed true to the OG but with minor tweaks, including the shape of the ankle and perforations on the toe.

In 2000, the sneaker was also introduced in the Air Jordan 1 Mid cut and was made of elegant patent leather.

2013 - The second release of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago Retro
